Introduction

Bihar's forest cover has declined sharply over the past two decades, threatening wildlife habitats, water sources, and the livelihoods of thousands of tribal and rural communities who depend on forests for survival. Climate change is making droughts and floods more frequent, and deforestation is a major contributor. Our forestation mission brings together local communities, schools, and volunteers to plant native trees, protect existing green cover, and restore Bihar's natural ecosystems one sapling at a time.

Impact of the Cause

We have planted over 1.2 lakh trees across 6 districts of Bihar since our founding. Survival rate of our saplings stands at 78%, significantly above the national average, thanks to our community ownership model where local families adopt and care for trees near their homes. Reforested areas have seen a measurable increase in groundwater levels, benefiting over 3,000 farming families. Eleven villages have declared their surrounding land as community forest zones, offering legal protection to over 400 acres of green cover.

How Your Donations Work

Planting a tree costs more than just buying a sapling — it requires soil preparation, watering support, community training, and follow-up care. ₹150 plants and nurtures one tree for its first critical year. ₹2,500 funds a school tree-planting drive engaging 50 children. ₹15,000 restores one acre of degraded forest land. Donations are used in seasonal planting cycles aligned with Bihar's monsoon calendar for maximum sapling survival. Each tree is tagged with a unique ID, and donors can track their tree's growth through our annual photo updates.

Transparency and Accountability

We publish an annual Environment Impact Report detailing number of trees planted, survival rates, species diversity, and geographic coverage. All expenses are audited by a third-party firm registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Our land restoration work is done in partnership with the Bihar Forest Department, which provides official oversight and documentation. Donors receive a digital planting certificate with GPS coordinates of their tree's location, ensuring full traceability.

Thank You

Every tree you fund is a gift that will outlive all of us. It will provide shade, clean air, and fruit to communities for decades to come. Children will climb it, birds will nest in it, and the earth beneath it will breathe again. You have chosen to fight for something that cannot speak for itself — and that makes your generosity extraordinary. On behalf of the forests of Bihar, the animals that call them home, and the people who live beside them — thank you. Your roots run deep here.
